:: Who am I?
I received my Masters degree (german: Diplom) in Business Administration and Computer Science (german: Wirtschaftsinformatik) from the University of Mannheim in 2005.:: Research
My current research focus is the development of Demaq, a system for declarative XML message processing. Interesting topics in this context are, among others, declarative languages for control flow specification and XML query processing, efficient message storage and forwarding, query optimization, reliable and secure communication, as well as transaction support and recovery. More information is available at the Demaq project homepage. A list of related publications can be found by following the publications link above.
I am also interested in tree-based index structures, related recovery topics and fundamental database components such as storage and memory management.
